Seymour Duncan SH-1 1959 Model Electric Guitar Pickup
These pickups have a true vintage voice and are incredibly versatile. The ’59 Model is very popular because of this. It's been engineered with the same spirit as it's original 1959 predicessor to have that nice sustain, full chords, and bright and clear attack. All with the features of a modern pickup to make it suitable for many genres.
The ’59 has a great low end which makes cleans all the more appealing and your sustain all the better. The high end is boosted slightly to improve attack and the mids are scooped a little for an even more clear sound that makes each note stand out in a chord. But play soflty and the mids fade right back, and picking harder will make the pickup clean up once again. This helps the 59' work in nearly every genre. It's even popular with those who have a Telecaster routed for a humbucker.
The 59' model is even wound on the same machine used at the Gibson Factoru in Kalamazoo, MI during the 1950s. It comes with a long-legged nickel silver bottom plate, vintage single conductor braided push back lead wire and no logo.
