Epiphone AJ-220SCE Acoustic Guitar:
The AJ220SCE being a part of the famous AJ series, the AJ model guitar from Epiphone is an important part to it's signature sound, and this model is put together with premium materials and traditional construction. With solid Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides (all mahogany on the mahogany model), this wood combination is sure to improve in sound over time. The neck is made from select mahogany with a glued in traditional dovetail neck joint for great tone, sustain, and stability. It has a SlimTaper D-Profile neck that Epiphone is known for, with a satin smooth, and fast finish that's easy to play. A bound fingerboard has a 12" radius with a 1.68" nut and 20 medium jumbo frets for a nice feeling while playing. In addition there is a nice compensated saddle for better intonation and overall sound.
The AJ-220SCE also has Shadow's new Performer Tuner Preamp that has a 2-Band EQ, Volume, Low Battery Light, built-in tuner, and a Phase switch which will help eliminate all the unwanted noise that often comes with amplifying an acoustic guitar. There is also a mute button which will definitely come in handy for live performances. The preamp runs to a NanoFlex HD low-impedance pickup, which not only picks up vibration under the saddle from the strings, but all vibrations on the top of the body too in order to amplify your guitars sound as naturally as it can.
