Epiphone Dot ETDTVSCH1 ES Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar:
The Dot is Epiphone's rendition of the famous ES-335 "Dot." Even vintage models can't compete with the modern sound and playability of Epiphone's Dot. It has all the classic tones and similar playability, but without any of the vintage problems that come with older guitars. Epiphone has been known for their semi-hollowbodies since the 1950's, including models such as the Riviera and the Sheraton. During this same time the ES-335 was introduced, and became an instant favorite and classic of blues, rock, country, and pop artists alike for many, many years to come. The modern dot features all of the same style and original electronic configuration as the original, only with modern reliability that has come from 40+ years of refinement. The body is constructed of laminated maple and a mahogany center block, and a hand-fitted and glued 24.75" scale mahogany neck, along with a 1.68" nut and the classic SlimTaper D-Shape neck profile. All electronics are made from preium pots and feature 1" 500K potentiometers, heavy duty output jack and selector switch, and a pair of real Alnico Classic humbuckers. There are individual tone and volume controls for each pickup.
