The Michael Kelly 1965 model line brings a boutique, double cut, classic style guitar to the modern player at a fraction of the price. A finely constructed swamp ash body joined with a high grain quilt maple top, and flame maple binding is sure to turn anyone's head. To meet today's high end playing requirements Michael Kelly fused a compound radius rosewood fretboard to a smooth maple neck for extreme comfort and play-ability. The 1965 comes loaded with the Michael Kelly Electronics Epic Eleven Mod. The Epic Eleven Mod brings a broad versatility to the limitations of traditional 5-way wiring. Equipped with a mini-toggle switch you can use the neck pickup in all positions of the 5-way selector. Michael Kelly also included a push pull volume knob on the 1965 which allows you to coil tap the bridge humbucker for a classic single coil tone. The 1965 is capable of producing 11 distinct tones, polished off with a two pin tremolo and locking Grover tuners.
