The Peavey PV 5300 Mixer is a powered box style mixer that gives you two hundred watts of power and five channels along with reverb. 4 of the channels use a combination style jack that you can connect either of the typical quarter inch cable or XLR mic cables into and channel 5 accepts RCA or 1/8" 3.5mm input. A five band equalizer is included to eq in your tone to the room and your needs.
The "PV5300 mixer" includes Peavey's famous FLS Feedback Locating System which locates and can basically exterminate most if not all of the feedback you come against. The 5300 weighs in at only fifteen pounds so it's a very easily portable lightweight mixer for your solo, duet, trio or small sound needs. It packs a punch though with two hundred watts of clean and crisp Peavey power. With it's combination of 1/4", XLR, RCA and 3.5 mm input jacks there;s not much you couldn't connect into it.
The PV5300 offers high and low equalization on each channel, as well as independent channel volume and reverb (effect) control. Along with that a mute buttom can quickly mute channels one, two, three and four. This comes in handy when you want to plug something in, reconnect speakers into a powered on system and any situation you need a fast mute of all channels.
