Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Pickup:
With a very high output and a large sound, this pick up is very unique in looks and tone. Vicious, aggressive, and hot, you wouldn't believe this is a passive pickup.
Swapping out to an invader completely changes your guitar. However aggressive your stock pickups claim to be, the Invader will put it to shame and transform your guitar into the harsh and heavy beast that you want it to be. The power of the Invader is routed in it's combination of specially over-wound coils and 3 large ceramic magnets, in addition to it's visually striking oversized pole pieces. This increases the overall magnetic field and broadens the frequency spectrum, which is where the richness of the Invader comes from. It gives the deepest, heaviest low end response of any passive pickup by Seymour Duncan. Chords on this pickup are very full and seemingly subsonic in lower tunings, and balance great with it's crunchy treble, which makes every note well defined. Pair the bridge and neck models together and your guitar is sure to be a high-output beast. Handmade in Santa Barbara, CA, the Invader is vacuum-wax potted for squeal-free performance.
