This beautiful guitar is a 1965 Fender Mustang in very good condition. This is being considered 'very good' because of its condition at its age. There is some scuffs and pick scratches and very minor wear that doesn't affect the playability or quality of the guitar whatsoever. There are no major damages, dings, or dents to the instrument at all and no warping to the neck. Overall, this guitar is awesome in every way.
It is ALL original. The vintage style tremolo, the pots, the input jack, the neck plate, tuners, pickups, pick guard, everything. It sits comfortably on the lap and is a decent weight so it is nice to stand with as well. The neck is pretty standard, nothing too thin or thick, however, the nut width is thinner, measuring 1 1/2". The guitar overall sounds and plays great with no issues.
The pots date to the 50th week of 1964, and the neck dates to December 1964, however, the L serial number on the neck plate dates to early 65. (L66553)
The case and strap are also original. The case is in very good condition and all of the latches work to keep the instrument secure and safe. The fur has of course worn down and does smell a bit of must from being stored and because of its age but that can be cleaned up. The case also does come with the original key to allow the guitar to be even more secured.
