This is designed for the archtop guitarists using a jazz box / hollow body guitar that uses other than the round sound hole. Great for your F hole guitars. You get a high amount of output in this very low noise pickup and no batteries are needed. Your looking at this page probably because your not happy with your stock pickup. This is a terrific replacement pickup that will give a full warm tone for your guitar. The Bill Lawrenece company has building great pickups out in California for years and this pickup will certainly add to their outstanding reputation. Magnetic Pickup for Archtop Guitars or some banjos For Steel String Archtop, Jazz, and Hollow Body Guitars Mounts at End of Fretboard / Fingerboard High Output, Feedback Resistant, Fully Shielded Jack Not Included, Requires Soldering Five Year Warranty Attach your A-400 pickup at the end of the fretboard and secure it with two side tabs. Included are two small screw holes in each tab for mounting (screws not included). A felt pad on the back of the pickup protects your guitar's finish. The pickup lead wire is about 15 inches long and needs to be soldered to your existing output jack (jack not included).
