EMG's active single coil pickups offer the bright, clear sound of a single coil pickup, but get rid of all of that annoying hum that's inherent to single coil pickups. Unlike nearly all single coil pickups, This EMG-S has an internal shielding with a low-impedance pre-amp that makes this pickup virtually noiseless, all while keeping that iconic single coil sound. The ceramic bar magnet gives the guitar a balanced tone, even during heavy bends. The pickup also has a large amount of output that gives a top end sparkle with solid lows and an articulate presence. No matter if you're playing jazz, country, metal or blues, this pickup will cover it all. To top it off, these pickups are solderless! Everything is designed with EMG's quick connect system, making installs fast and easy.
